Porous Concrete Dwellings reimagine the architectural possibilities of concrete, not as a monolithic barrier, but as a living, breathing envelope. In this approach, the primary concrete structure becomes both frame and filter—its rhythm of circular apertures choreographs light, air, and greenery, inviting the landscape to participate in daily life. Rather than merely enclosing space, these dwellings are conceived as thresholds, balancing solidity and openness, privacy and permeability. The design philosophy challenges the conventional dichotomy between interior and exterior, foregrounding a new poetics of inhabitation that is at once robust and sensitive to its ecological context.
